On the off chance that you are reading this...
...and you know who you are.
Stop.
Drop it.
Move on with your life.
Find something else to do, and someone else to stalk. You had my respect, you lost it when you fucked up.
(Anybody from IWETHEY can safely ignore this. No speculation about who this is, either. That is not a request.)

It's spelled "LRPD", but it's pronounced "mumble"!

Not really...
Ya gotta be careful. The Internet never forgets.
The Internet does "lose track" of things. Aren't you forgetting about the broken link to our former location? And that it isn't reachable from archive.org?

It's probably out there somewhere...
E.g. [link|http://z.iwethey.org/forums/render/content/show?contentid=5386|#5386]. And that's not counting various web-crawling sites that may have slurped it up.
If you don't want someone to find something on the Internet, the only protection is not putting it there in the first place. (Where's that peeing in the pool LRPD when one needs it?)
I wonder if kids these days realize that when they try to get on the Supreme Court 50 years from now that lots of their posts from 2004 may well be dredged up...
Cheers, Scott.

Oh, and The Register on Archive.org
[link|http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/07/09/archive_yeahright_org/|Here]: The supposed Internet archiving site is not a passive entity at all. It doesn't simply collect more and more data for the use of researchers as it claims. Instead, Archive.org actively engages in odd publicity stunts and actively pulls down information. What could be weaker than a media-hungry library with disappearing material? FWIW. Cheers, Scott.
