No problem *here*....
Scott:
Well, that post is just.. sitting there. I previewed it and such a couple of times, but "submit" now just gets "contacting z.iwethey.org" and no movement on the byte bar in Opera.

Might be an Opera issue.
I pulled up Netscrape 4.76, pasted there, it posted, no problem.
Sorry for the likely false alarm, you can close that bug with the "Opera Sucks" code... :)

Opera issue or not
It's still an IWETHEY issue.
Hell, if I can be bothered to code around problems in Mozilla, I can sure as hell do so for Opera. :-)

Maybe not.. I'll test some.
If, for instance, its just that with a certain amount of text, Opera (this was the Solaris Beta), won't send it...
What are you going to do about that? :)
(with SCGUI, this wouldn't be a problem)

*snicker*
Why, I'll, uh, build some javascript that gets sent for Solaris Opera only... or something. :-P

See "testing" forum for results.
Could paste:
"Note: Most speed problems at this point can be attributed to this machine's upstream-capped cable modem and P200 CPU. The new DSL line is on order, and the CPU and memory will probably be upgraded within the next two weeks. We're averaging 4700 page views per day, and did 56K page views for July so far. More stats here."
32.something times (with some CR's in there so I could keep track).
After that, opera never would submit it.
