merge/purge, and a whole lot more.

Then we get either an HP or IBM blade
server and start adding dual or quad CPU blades as
needed.

We also have allocated some decent $$ for disk.

This is the beginning of the end of the mainframe in
our compay. It took me 9 years, but it is finally
happening.

The software that we are currently dealing with
(Windows, Linux, Mac, etc hassles) will be replacing
a system that currently eats about 40% of all
mainframe CPU cycles. So it is worth it,
Windows hassles and all.
