New Our network VPN access redesign was only completed ...

last week. This was in response to the effects of both Blaster & Sasser.

The worm got in thru VPN & was able to go backwards out of our network into customers systems around the country.

We had teams going to at least 15 sites accross Australia to decontaminate our core customers (we are a very large wholesale distribution company) at same time we had to sort out our internal systems & pcs.

The post mortem was to work out how the infection got to our customers. We have now isolated each cust group on their own vlan.
