mainly related to the 2 Australians in Gitmo - the story is emerging that both were repeatedly beaten and abused (nakedness etc:).

One was seen being beaten harshly in Afghanistan before he was shipped to Gitmo. According to the reports, the soldiers took an intense dislike to westerners who had joined the Taliban & this guy was made to know it. The other Oz detainee is of Arab origin & he seems to have been better treated.

I think much of the case here is that there is so much smoke that there must be some fire.
