Ah well, on the bright side 'chuker finally got a Cup
Fell short during his Leafs run but better later than never.
Hopefully in the supposed new NHL post CBA battle, more Canadian teams will make it to the finals to end this sad drought.

personally go habs
as a kid I was a devoted hab fan. As an adult I only ever lived in one hockey hometown habs east. Now I live in tampa so its go tampa/habs until I move then go habs.

wayward cup
Calgary had a couple of opportunities to take it in game 6 but weren't able to capitalize. That kept Tampa's hopes alive. With the home town support for game 7 it was all they needed.
That was a good series. As much as I wanted to see the cup in Calgary, Tampa earned it.

the puck might have been on the line. It wasn't clearly over the line. It has to be completely past the goal mouth. Part way, most of the way, doesn't count. So, close but no cup.
