I guess you like germs/bacteria/viruses
all of which are far more plentiful and live quite happily inside the grain of the wooden seat, compared to the plastic seat. I'll take better hygeine over temporary warmth any day.

Hmmm.
It's been shown that less bacteria grow on wooden cutting boards than plastic; dunno whether a similar study was ever done for toilet seats...
