Macromedia is delivering its Flash Player 7 to Linux (Nasdaq: MACR - [link|http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nf/20040528/bs_nf/24266|news], [link|http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/alternates/|download site]) users and open-source developers, with an eye to extending the company's latest multimedia technology to an even broader audience.

Flash Player currently is bundled with Linux operating systems from Novell, Red Hat, Sun Microsystems and Turbolinux. It can be found on virtually all desktop systems with Internet connections, as well as on an array of mobile devices.
