Passed on, thanks.
I haven't decided if it's actually useful yet. :-)

OK, so how do I blow it up so that I can read it?
Enquiring minds want to know....

Come on, it isn't that bad
Most of them already exist in Perl 5.
They're just improved. Plus you have hyper-operators. Plus you have stuff from Q::S. Plus...
I have sudden sympathy for all those people who programmed Perl 5 as if it was Perl 4 for so long.
Cheers, Ben

Yeah, me
Remember when the rest of the world went to Perl 5?
I was running SCO, and it Perl 5 did not run on it FOREVER! And the the Oracle libraries did not work.

That's programming Perl 4 as Perl 4
Admittedly somewhat past the expiry date. But still...
Amusing note. I saw Unix machines that still did not have Perl 5 as late as 2002. At which point Perl 5 had existed longer than the release history of Perl 1, 2, 3, and 4 combined!
Cheers, Ben

Oh, I understand that. I'm still amused by it though.
The phrase "flea-bitten corpses of dead camels" comes to mind.
