Welcome to IWETHEY!

New User preference added.
"Board Auto-refresh Time"

Set it to 0 (which is the default) to disable the refresh. Otherwise it determines how many minutes between refreshes.

Since 0 is the default, you will have to explicitly enable the refresh now if you wish to use it.

Auto-refreshing people are not shown in the "active users" list.

-scott anderson

New A question
What does auto refresh do? Is it equivalent to a reload?

"AHHHHH! Relatives coming out of the woodwork!!!!!!"
New Yep, spot-on.
Two out of three people wonder where the other one is.
New Wow... how do I set it?
And would it be akin to reloading the internet anywhere else? (i.e. keep me from having to hit reload all the time?)

"AHHHHH! Relatives coming out of the woodwork!!!!!!"
New Same as pressing 'Reload' on your browser, yes.
As per Scott's original message, go [link|http://z.iwethey.org/forums/render/user/edit|here] to change your User Preferences - scroll down 'til you see "Board Auto-refresh Time". It's about 3/4 of the way down the page.

Setting the number to 10, for example, means that after ten minutes, if there are no new posts in any IWeThey forums, the page will automatically reload. (and, if you're lucky, there'll be new posts to read...)
Two out of three people wonder where the other one is.
New Awesome!
Thanks, I never knew about that feature before!

Give a man a match, he'll be warm for a minute.
Set him on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life!
New Ah....
I read his post twice, but I read it like he had altered an existing feature, by adding something else to it.

Thanks.

We had tornadoes in St. Louis again today, hope everyone's safe.
