Bug or undocumented feature?
Was on the phone (boring conference call) and forgot to log in; tried reading some posts and consistently get this error:
Zope Error Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource. Error Type: AttributeError Error Value: setProperty
Exited browser completely; launched new browser session; tried again to read posts without logging in; same error. Tried reading posts without logging in using Mozilla, Opera, and Konqueror and received the same error. Bug? New security feature? :-)
Note: once logged in; posts are fully readable.

To reproduce....
It seems pretty consistent no matter which board/post you try to read. The main 'ingredient' seems to be not logging in.
For example, taking this path to read lincoln's post in jobs without logging in produces the error:

Little Brothers Are Watching
I encountered the same bug, precisely as described, using Safari and MSIE on Mac OS 10.2; solved it in each instance with a login. Unlike slugbug I wasn't going to bitch and moan about it (insert appropriate typographical "sheesh, just kidding" element here—I don't do emoticons). It appeared just when the new expanded "Current User" roster showed up.
Regarding the new feature: like it from the standpoint of nosy user. Less certain I like it when I'm being monitored. Can't I be granted a Cloak of Invisibility while remaining at liberty to monitor my fellows? No? Somehow I didn't think so.
self-consciously,

Side note about being watched: I reached your post...
...by following the 'Currently replying to...' link from the Active Users page :)
Two out of three people wonder where the other one is.

dunno...
....about bitching and moaning....more like....made an otherwise really boring conference call a little less boring. So, if anything, thanks are in order. :-)

Re: Little Brothers Are Watching
Turn off your "Show you in active users list" preference if you don't wish to be monitored.
