for someone as demonstrably not-feeble minded as : Powell to comprehend, gehabt, kindern... what hope is there for the merely biz-class MBA hangers-on ever to smell the aroma of parboiled consciences?
This interview somewhat restores Powell in my eyes
It seems that it shows that he is *not* going to be manipulated any more than he can tolerate and that is intolerance of manipulation is growing.
I believe he carried an enormous burden of guilt in that he was the one credible member of Bush's admin that people all over the world trusted & respected & the admin used and abused this aspect of Powell.
I don't know that he can completely undo the damage but this is one very good evidence of a start.
what would that be telling us in its own right ? That he, or his minders, realise that he has a credibility problem ? That he needs to manufacture a better image ?
Either way it shows an awareness of a serious problem.
