Post #155,438 by dmarker 5/17/04 3:33:29 AM Reply	This interview somewhat restores Powell in my eyes It seems that it shows that he is not going to be manipulated any more than he can tolerate and that is intolerance of manipulation is growing. I believe he carried an enormous burden of guilt in that he was the one credible member of Bush's admin that people all over the world trusted & respected & the admin used and abused this aspect of Powell. I don't know that he can completely undo the damage but this is one very good evidence of a start. Doug M

That he needs to manufacture a better image ? Either way it shows an awareness of a serious problem. Doug
