Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Yeah, didn't you just hate it when Saddam did even worse...
than this? Weren't you just falling over yourself to demand that something be done about it?

Oh wait. You weren't, you hypocrite. But never mind. The Great Satan Uncle Sam is taking descisive disciplinary action in both cases.

DEAL WITH IT.
Americans: a pack, not a herd.
Never mind all the mass graves. Where's the nerve gas?

New Americans: a pack, not a herd
You got that right:

Note the up-close-and-personal liberation being administered to the female locals in images 16-24 by Our Brave Boys. And "decisive disciplinary action"? Hanging a few scapegoats out to dry? It is to laugh.

New Uh, Rand...?
The don't wear green camo in Iraq.

I think you've been had.

New Ouch!
Shucks. The set-up possibility had occurred to me (except I thought that a spoof would have yielded to the temptation of doing it with slightly higher technical quality, forgetting the insatiable lust the lower orders have for steep levels of JPEG compression)—but the desert vs. jungle camo issue did not even register. An interesting lesson in the tendency to see what we expect to see: the sequence now appears staged, as it did not on first look. Ah, well, to brandish a point is to risk, as here, falling upon it.

cordially,
Die Welt ist alles, was der Fall ist.
New They do look staged, too.
Someone's sick "rape th' towel heds" fantasy. Hard to believe if it weren't for some of the nastier spam emails I've gotten.

"Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson..."
New the rape scenes are suspect but the rest should have those
smiling assholes breaking rocks in levenworth. You dont need shit like that to break people, anyone who has visited the glasshouse could tell you that. This was good old boy fun and a good old boy jail sentence should be handed out right up to that General in charge,
thanx,

New Our own civilian prisoners are regularly abused

New Take that man's name
That's not the way we do things in America.
—George W. Bush

And anyone who suggests otherwise is an enemy combatant.

cordially,
Die Welt ist alles, was der Fall ist.
New However....
...non-US forces in Afghanistan were rumoured to be wearing their greens in order that they might not be mistaken for Americans.

Go figure.

Edit: Not rumoured, it seems:

New Well, as it is...
The prison shots with the hooded naked prisoners is sickening enough.

"Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson..."
New Sure they do
They're NG MPs. I doubt they wear desert combat clothes in their daily activities. Even the regular Marines in the field wear green camouflaged flak jackets.

Are you saying these photos are not real?
-drl
New That's what I'm saying.
The prison photos look authentic. The porn photos do not.

New I have a problem with this lot of photos

The rape scenes whilst very disturbing, give the appearance of staged photos and are not mentioned anywhere in the text.

This at first glance looks like a classic guilt by association (of all the photos) - there is no comentary or provinence for the added in photos (rape scenes).

They may be genuine but in this context they lack any credibility. They do look like a blatant attempt to piggy-back extra horror on the existing offensive photos.

New It does not matter
From now on, anything goes. Tomorrow someone will concoct a pictures of US soldiers pissing on the floor of Imam Ali mosque in Najaf, and that will work too.

That smiling bitch in Baghdad just cost us the moral high ground for the next few generations. It's too bad we cannot really become like that.
