Wife loses black pearl necklace that we bought on our honeymoon in Tahiti Saturday morning. Spend good chunk of day looking for it.

Sunday morning, Kitty appears to have a stroke, defecates all over the apartment, howling, dragging hindquarters - we drive him to the emergency room (1/2 hour away) - he gets very quiet, we thought he might have been dead. Turns out he went into diabetic shock, when we got to the vet his blood sugar level was 20, for those of you who know what that means. Vet stuck a needle in him, he got right back up as if nothing had happened, (minus the shit smeared all over his hindquarters) they kept an eye on him, and commented that his diabetes may have gone into remission.

I'm exhausted, and it ain't even Monday yet.
