Please. You really think THAT was what it was about?

The soul and substance of what customarily ranks as patriotism is moral cowardice and always has been...We have thrown away the most valuable asset we had-- the individual's right to oppose both flag and country when he (just he, by himself) believed them to be in the wrong. We have thrown it away; and with it all that was really respectable about that grotesque and laughable word, Patriotism.

High Crimes and misdemeanors.
Not a single lawyer, nor judge I know considers lying in a civil matter either.

Um, ...
in a civil matter. A blowjob is, I think you would agree, is not a criminal matter.

I didn't forget.
Why in the name of all that is holy did the question of a blow job EVER GET PUT to the Grand Jury? Talk about abuse of process....

She got a tip...
They dismissed the insider trading charges. The only thing she is convicted of is purgery and obstruction of justice... Should she go to prison?
Just a few thoughts,

I don't know the case. But, ...,
probably not. However, I'll admit to being biased. I'm not a capitalist, so anything that makes working people lose faith in the stock market is a good thing imo. That said, even I'd argue that illegal trading practices are a much more serious vice in a capitalist society than getting a hummer. ;-)
