Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Attended an excellent IBM Web Svcs event today

[link|http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/offers/techbriefings/softwaredev.html|http://www-106.ibm.c.../softwaredev.html]

This was attended by four of us from our company - was a freebie all day event & the content and material was excellent.

Was impressed with the quality of the material. Can highly recommend similar roadshows in your area.

New Seeing as how you liked it...
Do you care to add anything to the discussion about EJBs at [link|http://z.iwethey.org/forums/render/content/show?contentid=144182|http://z.iwethey.org...?contentid=144182] ?

Thanks,
Ben

New Re: ? - whats Java EJB got to do with Web Services ? :-)

I wrote *all* the ones I did in VASmalltalk. I got the other guys at work
to do the Java & .NET parts of our own demos (done last month).

Doug

(ps - I'll take a peek at the EJB thread but not sure what value I can add)

New In the real world, apparently not much
But since they are part of the entire package that I understand IBM pushes, I thought that it was related.

New You are correct about IBM.
My current boss bleeds blue (and is causing my current employer to bleed a ton of green as a consequence). Web Services, according to the IBM goobers that periodically come by our shop to fleece us, are EJB's.

Mikem

I don't do third world languages. So no, I don't do Java.
