Can a severely handicapped person sue a doctor for not urging an abortion on his mother? France of course.

New Already happened in US
Local case had a spinal diffida (of course that's a misspelling) parents suing doctor for not pre-diagnosing it. Bet the girl involved wiill feel great about her parents wanting to abort her, when/if she learns about it.
"Beware of bugs in the above code; I have only proved it correct, not tried it."
-- Donald Knuth
New spina bifida. yer welcome. :-)
One of my ex-wife's twins has it. As I understand it, it's incomplete development of the spinal column. Severity ranges from don't-know-you-have-it to near complete incapacitation.

New ya missed a point
the disabled guy sued because he should have been aborted and won, not only the parents. This implies a right not to be born a right enjoyed by the bornee.
