It allows you to write a generic "editor" with OLE, print preview and all the trimmimgs in 50 lines of code (not counting 5000 generated lines behind the scenres). Trouble is, nobody writes generic editors. And MFC is useless for anything else. -- "...and pronounce all four E's in the word 'shit'"
