Perhaps with people like Steve Irwin (Croc Hunter) baiting 12ft Crocks with his month old baby son 'Bob', this guy's story didn't attract too much attention :-)

The story about 'wobby'gongs being like pit-bulls is true enough. The little buggars tend to hand around the bottom of the foreshores & if you annoy them they chomp.

Wife tells me it was all over the radio yesterday - interview with lifesavers included how they had to improvise in getting the shark to let go (not in their normal training :-)
