I've hatched the bizarre idea that I can make Squeak a pl langauge option for postgres (more or less as a self-imposed challenge), and I'll have to understand the Python code to do so. So it's odd that you mention these exact two things.

If I hadn't just bought the SONY UX50, the above (same price or cheaper) would have been the next choice.

The screen size & keyboard size are excellent & the two mode clamshell folding capability are better than a std PDA. (You can actually type on the keyboard).

The SONY came with WiFi & Bluetooth built in - the SL-C700 requires a CF plugin for either of them.
