What does Firebird have to do with this ???
[link|http://firebird.sourceforge.net|Firebird] has nothing to do with browsing the Web; it's a frigging database!
Oh, you mean "Mozilla Firebird"! But, didn't you know you aren't supposed to talk about that as if it were an end-user product? It's just "an internal codename for a Mozilla project, and will be integrated into the main Mozilla product offering really soon now, after which it won't be relevant for anyone to mention it as 'Firebird'; and until then, we'll make sure that everybody calls it 'Mozilla Firebird', OK?", to sum up a few quotes from the Mozilla people themselves. (Their "really soon now" was supposed to be sometime in late summer or early fall 2003, IIRC...)
But, anyway: Thanks a lot for helping them usurp another Open Source project's / product's name, Steve.
