New Spam emails loaded with random words ?

Seem to be geeting more & more of these lately.

Does anyone know the purpose ?. One day I received a spam mail with about ten
'tags' that were something lide <<random word>> <<random word>> etc: etc: etc:

I know there is a method to the madness, just can't quite twig t it.

New Spam filter poisoning

These are intended to mess up the Bayesian filtering software that most spam-blockers use to identify whether an e-mail is junk or not.

I'm noticing more of this myself.

All part of the escalating war between spammers and humans.

New It's working, too.
Many of the periodic spams my filter used to get are now making it through.

New I'm noticing

Mail.app uses a Bayesian junk mail filter and I've been noticing more false positives and false negatives lately.

This has been a topic of discussion in my Machine Learning class, where we, coincidentally, are coding up Naive Bayesian algorithms.

Fascinating stuff, all in all.

New obv stat-babe question -
Test for {particularly obtuse} thus new filter category - and yes, I see that this might require the overhead of a quick-dictionary test 1, 2, 3, .. n ==> yup, It's Random Shit: don't accumulate.

Then too, if it's PGP - - :(

This looks like the output of a Markov bot that's been fed bus timetables from a city where the buses crash constantly.
