Both?
Not a matter of adulterated.
Note: Please forgive the rampant
spellos and typos to follow, I've given
up on correct spelling tonight.
There are many types of amphetamines
that are hallucinagenic. But when they
are not refridgerated, or are too old,
they break down. One of the byproducts
of this degradation is strychnine.
When you say "both", that is the starting point.
As an easily identifiable starting point, think
about psilocybin mushrooms. Very mellow, great
visuals, very short lived. Peak in 45 minutes,
down in 2 hours. Not cost effective unless you
grow your own.
A counterpoint to that would be peyote cactus,
which has mescaline, which is very speedy, and tastes
AWFUL (heavy duty alkaloid). Lasts about 8-14
hours, but peaks very slowly. Some people THINK
they've had mescaline, in the form of "microdots".
Didn't happen. Mescaline needs at least 300MG
to have any effect, so microdots are far too small.
Another very mellow (and LEGAL) hallucinagen is
hawiian baby wood rose seeds. When I go back
to drugs in 27 years, I'm going to be living
on those. This has lysergic pre-cursors, so it
is effectively legal LSD. When using them, they
have a natural coating of poison on them to keep
the birds from eating them, so they need to have
the outside lightly burned off. Also, they are
tough to digest, so they need to be ground very
well or will cause a painful stomache ache.
Then we have the large variety of manufactured
acid, speed acid, etc. Next to impossible to
determine what they actually are. Packaging
means nothing. I've had "window pane", "blotter",
"sugar cubes" and "micro-dot". It seems that "blotter"
was typically speedy, while the others "mellow",
so I assume the others were more likely to be real
LSD, but there is no way for me to know. They all
caused trips lasting between 8 and 14 hours, black
basketballs, trails, synthesathia, variety of visuals.
They all triggered immediate tolerance, causing me
to need to double dose if I wanted to trip in the
same week.
As I'm sure you can tell, I miss acid, and look forward
to my old age when I will start doing it again.
