But ecstasy (un messed-with) is nothing like speed - notwithstanding legions of hyper-kiddies misusing it in quantity, quality and nature: while thrashing around and losing track of anything but drums. That behavior is not 'induced' by MDMA. I suppose the trend to be a mere manufestation of 'short attention span' - superseding all other qualities; possibly from fear of a sustained period of quietness in the culture? Some indeed fear silence - not to even mention solitude. I can testify from experience, with known pure substance - that a rave is not anything to do with what MDMA 'does' - as to what it might be (best used) for? That's another discussion. A.
