The worst I ever saw.
Fortune 100 company. The typical scenario when a plant manager was fired was to have the corporate helicopter land in the parking lot. Then, the president of the company comes into the plant, with two guards and has the two guards and the hr director escort the plant manager out of the building. The company would later box up the plant manager's personal items and mail them to him.
I worked in one of the plants when the plant manager was fired. It was a cold, steady sleet/snow mix day. The corporate hq called and had our plant manager drive up to corporate hq ( a 3 hour trip when the weather was good ). When he got there, he was fired. The weather didn't work for the helicopter trick this time. Man, that was hugely ugly.
