At least the language isn't.

Of course, the more modern words will migrate from country to country.

The Hungarians (Magyars) showed up in their current location around 895 AD. Their original homeland was around the Urals in Asia, or so I was told a couple of months ago by a tour guide in Budapest.

I think the Hungarians who dress up in bloomy pants and colorful vests and slouch hats and bang out Liszt on the zongora are Slavs. Those kwazy Slavs can sure cut a rug. But, I may be thinking about Gypsies, come to think of it.
