Flying while religious

Excerpt:
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- A Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Newark, N.J. was diverted Sunday after two men were seen huddled together and speaking a foreign language in the back of the plane, officials said.
Officials at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport initially received reports that the men were trying to break into the cockpit, said Aviation Director Jerry Orr. It turned out to be two Jewish men praying together in the back of the plane, he said.
"By the time the plane landed here and our officer got on, the two gentlemen were back in their seats," Orr said. "It was a lot about nothing."
The plane landed in Charlotte around noon and departed for Newark about 2:30 p.m., Orr said. The two men were rebooked on a later flight, and were "bewildered but not angry," Orr said.
I say:
Living in fear sucks. But that's where we'll be until Islamic terrorism is completely under control. Which will most likely amount to wiping it out. I'm happy to read that these men took it all in good grace.

'Living in fear' is an attitudinal choice about life
and appears to have only little to do with the headlines du jour. Those with vivid imaginations and a high school comprehension of the stored energy in a tank of gasoline: may drive scared. Or not.
Why then? should any one of us, "put on hold next.. life" ? (and that means, all which is an essential ingredient to life being - one with the full range of emotions available)
If you are congratulating the two men for "understanding" the absurd! while condoning the asinine mindset which led to this stupidity - thus, accepting it as the new 'normal' (?)
Then please don't presume that everyone lives with the same attitude. I don't know about you, but I'm going to die. Not even the next full breath is ever guaranteed. I hope I shall have the presence of mentation not to squander final seconds in bitching about, 'the probabilities.. and how I got screwed' (??)
Enjoy while you can,
Ashton

Living for an appreciable length of time is attitude choice.
When people are trying to kill you, you can either live in fear, or live for a very short time. The choice is yours.
I know I'll die someday. I'm just not in a hurry.

As a matter of personal safety,
terrorism is, even counting the recent events, not a significant threat on an individual basis.

Ah, but it's the *trend* that matters.
Got to watch that first order derivative.
Don't want to end up like the proverbial frog on the skillet now, do we?

Enjoy it while you can
No One Lives Forever
You worry too much / You make yourself sad You can't change fate / But don't feel so bad Enjoy it while you can / It's just like the weather So quit complaining brother . . . . . . . No one lives forever!!
Let's have a party there's a full moon in the sky It's the hour of the wolf and I don't want to die
I'm so happy dancing while the grim reaper cuts, cuts, cuts But he can't get me (I'm as) Clever as can be, and I'm very quick, but don't forget No one lives forever!!!
You think you got it rough / What about your darling doggy? Ten short years / And he's getting old and groggy I don't think it's very fair Cold, chop, low, but it's all relative my friend 'cause No one lives forever!!! Let's have a party there's a full moon in the sky It's the hour of the wolf and I Don't want to die (but) . . .
No one beats him at his game For very long but just the same Who cares, there's no place safe to hide Nowhere to run--no time to cry So celebrate while you still can 'Cause any second it may end. And when it's all been said and done . . . Better that you had some fun Instead of hiding in a shell-Why make your life a living hell? So have a toast, and down the cup And drink to bones that turn to dust ('cause) . . . No one, no one, no one, no one . . . . . . . (etc.) No one lives forever!! (Hey!)
Ahhhhhhhhhh, Danny Elfman, a poet for all time.
