Indy was the realest of real racing, that's why all the top drivers wanted to win there. The competition went to shit when the rules about engines were arbitrarily changed to make it "competitive", IOW, so that the idiot AJ Foyt could field a team.

Believe me nothing is racing could ever be as great as a real Indy start. We haven't had one of those since about 1994.
