Department store credit cards like to play dirty tricks. In reality, the interst may be computed from day one, and gets forgiven if you pay in full before the term expires. If you don't pay in full by 2005, you get to pay o0ver a year worth of interest at something like 16 or 22 percent. Very nasty.

I got $700 to pay off most of it. Before 2005, if I haven't paid it off, I will transfer it to a different card with a lower interest rate. This one has 19.8% Annual. :(
