Some people argue it was 'insane' to go to war on such doubtful evidence (as it was well know prior to the invasion) and to do so almost alone and having ridiculed other major world powers who did not see the the US justification nor go along with the evidence, for very good reasons. DSM Mubarak back in 2002 once US went in: "Ohhh mighty Allah!!! - insteand of just one Bin Laden, we are about to witness the spawning of 100s of them - groannnn"
