Try [link|http://www.google.com/search?q=SQLite+perl+-site:debian.org+-accepted+-%22index+of%22&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&start=0&sa=N|this].

Google allows you to filter out sites (-site:debian.org), terms (-accepted) and phrases (-"index of"). These appear to improve your search results markedly.

It is annoying to have to do manually what used to be done for me automatically. It definitely opens up a window for alternatives.
