Any idea wether he is an armchair button pusher or someone like Bush1 who has actually been shot t in the heat of combat. Litmus test for military politicians,
have you been shot at more times than Al Sharpton?

New Some comments from soldiers under him
have implied that he is unique among generals in that he has been known to rag on PFC's directly rather than working through his chain of command.

Not that thats always a bad thing - but it will be worth watching to see if he is comfortable delegating or is he a control freak that has to do everything himself. The later behavior is doomed to failure - the job is too big.

OTOH I like his characterization of the current administration as "reckless". I agree.
