I suspect that pairing quick learners with quick learners and slow ones with slow ones is the key to success. Hence, don't do it till you or your students learn who is who in the class. -- OK, George W. is deceptive to be sure. Dissembling, too. And let's not forget deceitful. I don't want this to be an excuse for the slow ones to just coast so I have to make sure that there's good coaching going on. They'll also have individual assignments that they'll be responsible for completing on their own.
