Welcome to IWETHEY!

New could be an honest mistake
I did that once - junior high, 7th grade I believe. Didn't realize that dishwashing soap was non-sudsing; afterall, you never see what's going on in the dishwasher.

As for the hamster - got rid of mine after getting up one morning to find that one had eaten the other.

New It was
Sarah (daughter) bought this fancy liquid soap in a dispenser with a disturbed design. Easy enough to get distracted by this expensive piece of crap.

Ben had only used liquid dishwashing soap before.

The liquid had run out, the powder was sitting next to it.

Totally oblivious to the powder, he opened up the new weird liquid and used that.

I'll use it as ammo for a few months everytime he assumes he already knows something.

The hamster will take a while. Since I already threatened it I can't kill it now.
It'll have to die of natural causes in a few months.
