George Bush will attempt tonight to convince the American people that he has a workable 'exit strategy' to free his forces from the rapidly souring conflict in Iraq, as Britain prepares to send in thousands more troops to reinforce the faltering coalition effort.
I say:
Wishful thinking? Or simply an inability to grasp the thinking of those who are not - like themselves - utter moral cowards?
This is what you get for relying too much on one Whitehall source. My guess is this one source was selected for his willingness to tell them what they want to hear.
