Foley is good by Mick Foley
A very well written book about the state of the nation, fakeries in the news bizness, misconceptions about wrestling, reviews of theme parks and the fakery of the people running the PCA (the group wanting to ban rassling as too violent and sexual content) turns out using the study that investigated the WWF that the daily soap operas are much more violent and full of sexual content by a magnitude of 6. The soap operas cant raise funds for the massive salaries of the 2nd generation Mcarthyites. Good read even for non wrestling fans. thanx, bill

Re: Foley is good by Mick Foley
Thanks I've been meaning to buy it, but it dropped off the radar of the local book stores. I was waiting for it to get moved to the 10%-20% off bin, like some of Bill Gates books get moved to after six months, but it seems to have vanished from the store. Maybe they sold out of it? I was asking the ladies who worked at Waldenbooks about it, but they were too busy laughing to give me an answer. It seems one of them was telling a joke to the others about something else before I asked them. Or at least that is what they told me.
All the Soap Operas are missing are the folding-chairshots to the head, hardcore matches, and refs. I wonder if the WWFE would ever consider taking over a Soap Opera like they did the WCW and ECW? ;)

got mine at walmart for 18.99
being on the best seller list means it might be picked up by the local library. you wont find it in Waldenbooks they didnt want to sell it so adjusted the New York Times best seller list so that no 2 was number one. The NYT didnt take too kindly to that. thanx, bill

I'll have to lift my Wal*Mart Boycott
and then break down and buy a copy from there.
Someone told me that Mick talks about some 6 year old kid hitting him in the nose at Santa's Village. Something like "Show him your Goldberg impression, Joey." and Mick sqatted down to see it, and the kid just popped him in the nose and took off laughing. Then the parents said "Good job Joey!"

And if you really want *those*, you can get them...
Norm (I don't care *what* infantile nickname he's dreamt up now) writes: All the Soap Operas are missing are the folding-chairshots to the head ...you can get those on Jerry Springer. See, what with soap operas and Springer, you don't *need* that silly "wrestling" at all!

I just don't want those daytime trashTV shows
with the fat women wearing skimpy clothes, the racist b*stards in white robes, the imbred rednecks abusing their wives, and other stuff that Pro Wrestling doesn't have. They just won't stoop down that low in creating a TV character.
One day I shall create a nickname that everyone likes, until that day comes, call me Orion for now. I think I threw off those Yahoo Stalkers, at least for now. I haven't heard from any of them on here or Ezboard, but there is someone spoofing me over at Yahoo still, and giving me some trouble.
BTW heard from Desitter recently?

I should take a break too
it seems being sick has got me operating at 1/3rd my ability with these headaches from hell. I cannot even think straight or form a coherant thought most of the time.
