Both movies are good escapism.
Both have decent characters.
Both are quality fantasy.
Both are well directed and well photographed.
Both made movie history.
Both have many memorables scenes and lines.
Both I will watch with little or no hesitation.

But if I'm forced to choose, I'll probably choose Star Wars. Because I prefer my fantasy a little more "exotic". :-)
