It appears, however, that the IBM sponsored one requires the Software Choice support contract ($200 for 2 years) and the commercial version costs $39. Barring those, you'll have to get the older (free) IBM sponsored SciTech driver from someone who has it. Video card makers stopped publishing OS/2 drivers when the SciTech driver became available ('cause IBM wouldn't subsidize them any more). [link\|http://www.aaxnet.com\|AAx]

Post #115,090 by orion 8/23/03 4:45:34 PM Reply	Not able to install I put the new IDEDASD drivers on disk 1, I had to remove some SCSI drivers to make the files fit. They are larger than the original drivers. I booted with the modified floppies and after inserting disk 1, the floppy and hard drive lights were on for over 30 minutes not doing any flashing or anything. Just on, as the hard drive and floppy both spun, but didn't do anything. Maybe I can install it on my spare system. Now XP won't boot and I get Drive I/O Timeout errors with my diagnostics disk. Not sure if this is a sign of a bad drive, or if I hosed it up by trying to install OS/2.
