Welcome to IWETHEY!

New There is serious speculation now on bugtraq
...that it IS blaster-related. I invite you all to peruse recent bugtraq postings regarding this. Keyword: SCADA.
"There's a set of rules that anything that was in the world when you were born is normal and natural. Anything invented between when you were 15 and 35 is new and revolutionary and exciting, and you'll probably get a career in it. Anything invented after you're 35 is against the natural order of things."

Douglas Adams
New Specifically?

I wholeheartedly invite you to embrace this newfangled technology called the World Wide Web and provide a Uniform Resource Locator pointer to the references you have in mind.

What part of "gestalt" don't you understand?\r\n
[link|http://twiki.iwethey.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/|TWikIWETHEY] -- an experiment in collective intelligence. Stupidity. Whatever.\r\n

Keep software free.     Oppose the CBDTPA.     Kill S.2048 dead.\r\n[link|http://www.eff.org/alerts/20020322_eff_cbdtpa_alert.html|http://www.eff.org/alerts/20020322_eff_cbdtpa_alert.html]\r\n
New If you cared, you'd look yourself,
and realize I didn't post links 'cause I don't have time right now.

New but now I have a couple spare minutes
Start with: [link|http://www.securityfocus.com/archive/1/333510/2003-08-13/2003-08-19/0|http://www.securityf...8-13/2003-08-19/0] on page: [link|http://www.securityfocus.com/archive/1|http://www.securityfocus.com/archive/1] items with subject or re: "CNN: 'Explores Possibility that Power Outage is Related to Internet Worm'"

Then read (and translate): [link|http://www.heise.de/newsticker/data/ju-15.08.03-001/|http://www.heise.de/.../ju-15.08.03-001/]

Douglas Adams
New I'd looked...

...but wasn't sure which refs you were referring to. SCADA, for those trying to figure out what it means, is "supervisory control and data aquisition" -- essentially a remote admin and monitoring facility. I had to go through about four levels of links to find that, on an informational page, buried in the endnotes. Piss poor design there. Define your acronyms on first use.

\r\n\r\n

I've posted stuff with a proviso "I'll add links later" or just drop a link with brief (very brief) commentary.. Works for me, different strokes.
