New Image capture

Does anyone use any specific image capture software that can capture an image of Linux /Windows/etc: on-the-fly & use it for a full server restore if needed (kind of like a super 'Ghost' that works with clusters (which Ghost doesn't seem to).

Cheers

New Possibly: drsync

[link|http://hacks.dlux.hu/drsync/|drsync] is "a wrapper for rsync. It does track if you add or remove files in your repository, and add it or remove it in the remote place also." Note that "instant snapshot" is pretty much impossible, but a frequently updated sync mirror might come close to what you want.

New Our ops manager wants to use

PowerQuests V2i but as good as it looks, it is win only & we have HP/UX servers & an EMC SAN.

V2i will handle Win clusters.

Will take a look at the prod you have suggested.

Cheers
