New Microsoft advertisement
I've recently seen this ad:

"Unix level reliability without Unix level budget"

What the hell is MS thinking? "Our software doesn't have Unix's reputation, but it's cheap"?

It just triggered a realization for me. All MS ads are somewhat wrong. Using a bug for advertizing software? "Your last purchase from us was crap, but look at the new thing!" series? Recently in Dr. Dobbs, they had an ad for Visual Studio that showed a developer proudly smiling at a whiteboard full of intricate diagrams. Placed over 6-foot wide desk buried in crap.

It seems like all that money MS throws at advertizing is so intoxicating, the ad authors can't think clearly.
