(I know a person whose business name was rejected by similar Ashcroftian pecksniffery - though there wasn't anything remotely suggestive about the name - it was deemed to Maybe be some code word for Something which Might offend Someone Somewhere.. but they couldn't say What they thought that Something might be 'about'. WTF - it was enough to get her permanently off MSN. So it wasn't all that bad. Just stupid. Verily was it That.) Like Billy like goat.

MSN mightn'y like an individual, but AOL had a disagreement with a whole city :) [link\|http://www.xent.com/spring96/0552.html\|This] is from quite a few years ago, where AOL's 'decency filters' (sounds about as pernicious as 'ethnic cleansing' or something equally awful...) decided that were you from that town, well, you just weren't. Had also heard a tale of their 'decency' causing the word 'breast' to be disallowed. Which did wonders for participants in AOL's forum for breast cancer support groups... John. Busy lad.
