The coin has been tossed
and it came up Heads. The company in Columbus, Georgia won; Oklahoma City lost.
We'll leave the house off the market until springtime, to see if I really want to work there for a few years (and that they really want me around). Since the housing market is slowing down, and that we'll take a big loss by selling anyway, we don't lose all that much by not showing it now, but we gain big by eliminating the "house on the market" stress my wife and children would have to face. Also, they get to remain in the schools where they have friends for another semester.
I'll probably have to drive up to Atlanta on Saturdays for my own training, but, oh well, that's how it goes.
I report in 3 weeks. Time to paint and start throwing stuff out.

Well then, hi neighbor!
Although by the most direct route (of ~360 miles), one would cut acroos South Carolina.

Good luck... And you're smart hanging on to your house...
Besides, the hurricane could destroy it and then you wouldn't have to sell. :-)
Just kidding. It's only a TS or Cat 1, won't even take the shingles off.

HoHoHo...
Everything you were saying was defending the OKC...
Georgia made alot more sense from everything you said about it. More money, better company outlook, less stress...
You probably made the right choice. (99% chance I am thinking)
