New Ten Million Man March
I think we might just have enough time by Labor Day.

Every unemployed/underemployed white collar employee needs to march on the city hall of the city they live in. If your pay was reduced last year, or your hours increased with no pay increase, you need to be there.

Most don't have the money to travel to Washington, but if there were 50,000 in Downtown Dallas, and 100,000 in San Francisco, and 75,000 in Houston, and 500,000 in New York, and 250,000 in Washington. You get the idea.

But someone will have to organize it... Who?

The signs need to protest L1B, H1B, Unchecked Executive Compensation, and ask for prosecution of Kenneth Lay, Bernie Ebbers, etc.

Would each of you turn out in your own city? I'm asking for you make a sign, march in front of City Hall in your own city...

Also, I'm employed (at least at the moment), and don't really have time to organize something like this.

I was thinking that city hall might not be the right place. The organizer in each city should choose a major employer (EDS would be the perfect candidate here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area) and protest around the headquarters of that location.

Maybe we just start and email chain, and put the names of the places for each city we live in. Maybe by the end of August, the email would have reached enough people for at least it to be a 100,000 man march.

Again, I'm not a good organizer, so someone else is going to have to organize it, plan it, etc.
