Well, basically, I have to exchange the power supply bus-bar and power-supplies.

One blew out a bit ago and the fan on the other is failing and the chassis is burnt to a crisp... :)

Dam Redundancy... screws you every time!

New reminds me of the time...
when at a large computing services organization I used to work for the UPS became known as the DOWNS because it failed so many times in a period of 4-5 weeks or so, memory fades. What with parts breaking and electricians putting wooden rulers with metal strips in them places where they shouldn't, we had more outages due to power failures than anything else that year.

Never had a power supply fail in any of my el-cheapo machines. Second case of such failure in bullet-proof servers. What the hell are we paying for?
