New But, but, Microsoft told the court . .
. . that a moudular Windows couldn't be made, and that if it could it'd be a marketing and support disaster. Did they lie? Or did they half lie and the disaster part is coming?

Of course, the main use for modularity is already proving it's value on Windows 2003. Microsoft couldn't get it all done on time, so just buy it now, and major pieces will come along later.
