New Hotmail under siege
for the past few days my hotmail acct has been getting bombed by messages between 190 and 500 KB in size
with a 2 MB limit the box fills up fast
I assume they are all viruses and just block the senders if I have time or just delete them
the hotmail servers seems slowed down with lots of extra password checks
and server too busy messages

New This is part of the "Better with the Butterfly" campaign.
It has gotten the black-hats off they duffs.

You know MSN and Hotmail use the same backends now right? So now you see why, I guess the target has been affecting things worse than they thought.

Oh, well, sooner or later M$ will fail at being an ISP.

it is, after all, a free email service on the web. World wide as well. My wife has relatives in Thailand who use it for their primary email because they cannot afford a real account and use other people's or school's or Cybercafe's machines. So it is only a matter of time before they get more users than they can handle. The same thing is going to happen to AOL, if you ask my opinion.
