Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Oddly enough
My 3D acceleration works fine under Debian, with no fussing around, no black bars.

It sucked under SuSE, and that was after a lot of screwing around just to get it working at all.

But you don't want to hear that, do you. I'm with Karsten. Call us assholes, heap on the abuse. But don't come around expecting hand-outs afterwards.
Regards,

New Re: Oddly enough
The DRI/GLX drivers are in flux, as has been X itself lately - so your report is not surprising. It has nothing to do at all with the distribution - it's an XFree issue. I'm sure when I get to work tomorrow and dock, the 3D will look peachy on the CRT.

New You're full of it.

New Are they?
Care to back that up? Given that XFree86 is in the 4.3 freeze, I'd say it's NOT in a state of flux.

Not that you have the vaguest idea what you're talking about, but for the benefit of those people reading who aren't aware that you're a clueless buffoon, I thought I'd point it out.
