My immediate impression was
Oh Gawd - now there's a MS Optical Anal Probe .. with LEDs and Clippy.
Or possibly, The Cesspool Mouse -- why not automate your coprophageous activites?
or as we used to say in grammar school ...
M$ is safe for another few weeks - we killed that shit-eating dog.

ICLRPD (new thread)
Created as new thread #100891 titled [link|/forums/render/content/show?contentid=100891|ICLRPD]
After 9/11, Bush made two statements: 1. "Terrorists hate America because America is a land of freedom and opportunity." 2. "We intend to attack the root causes of terrorism."
Sounds like everything is going according to plan.

Sort of like that Urinal game
only this one is a porta potty.
Not sure how they can keep it clean if someone uses the toliet and then uses the mouse and keyboard. Unless it is all voice controlled or something like that.

FLASH!! The iLoo (just like M$ security, btw) is a hoax
[link|http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,86731,00.html|http://www.foxnews.c...933,86731,00.html]
"This iLoo release came out of the UK office and was not a Microsoft sanctioned communication and we apologize for any confusion or offense it may have caused," Microsoft spokeswoman Bridgitt Arnold said late Monday."
Hmm, confusion? I guess so. I was pretty confused that M$ was putting its software where it truly belonged. Offense? Only to portable toilets the world over.

"Hoax"?
Confirmed by 3 sources, but it's described as a hoax. Could it be that disavowing it as a hoax keeps them out of court for stealing it?

Interesting link. I hadn't run across that story. But it does fit with M$ business practices.

Microsoft iLoo was no hoax - official
[link|http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/6/30686.html|Microsoft iLoo was no hoax - official]
"... In a statement issued last night Microsoft UK had this to say.
The MSN iLoo was not false or a hoax. ... Earlier this week the monster company said that the iLoo press release came out of the UK and that it was not a Microsoft-sanctioned communication.
Except, it's now clear that it was genuine.
Someone, somewhere has cocked up. Someone, somewhere is clearly "off message" and definitely not singing from the same hymn sheet". How amusing."
