..on the difference between the "langauige" and the "library"?
You could make a case for the "library" being foobarred.
In fact, it would be my experience using g++ with its >ahem< STL implementation >coff< tha the "library" is indeed foobarred. I never thought I'd say it, but anything GNU with a number less than 3.0 has ANSI compliance < Microsoft VC6.
And that's an insult that should bring tears to any self-respecting GPL implementor!!! (Especially since it's true)
